Encore please!

If you are a fan of Jason Bourne, Travis McGee or Doc Ford, you'll be looking for the sequel the moment you finish A Man Left Behind. Von Orr is the new hero we've been waiting for. This is a page turner, yet the characters are so well developed you will feel like they have the potential to be great friends - or foes - depending on the character in the book. The story is simply intriguing, fast-paced and the plot has some twists and turns you will not expect. Von Orr. Get used to this name. Book 2 please Mr. Slone . . . don't make us wait long!

Papa Company Ranger RVN 1969-70

David Slone has taken some of his experiences, mixed them with some outstanding writing ability, and written a book that was hard for me to put down. Recognizing some of the events and characters in the story made it very interesting for me to read personally. I served with David and am proud and honored to say so. All of the Papa Company Rangers served with honor and did a ugly, brutal, necessary job in Vietnam in an arena most would not dare step foot into. I wish the author blue skies and fair winds as we all face the difficulties of growing old and constant exposure to Agent Orange, and battle wounds, both physical and psychological, during our tours. I enjoyed it completely. Well Done!! Ranger Rock
